Things that are TRUE and I NEVER want to forget!!!!!

So going along day to day sometimes I start to assume that things I see (depression, skeptisicm, indiference) are true, rather than remembering and believing what is REALLY TRUE even though you can´t always see it. Here are some truths I never want to forget:

EVEN WHEN YOU ARE DEPRESSED AND DISCOURAGED AND DON´T FEEL LIKE FEELING BETTER EVEN THEN GOD´S WORD IS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO DIG DOWN PAST THOSE FEELINGS AND LIFT YOU UP.

GOD´S WORD IS ABSOLUTE TRUTH--PEOPLE IN THE WORLD USUALLY DON´T KNOW GODS WORD SO SOMETIMES THEY WILL SAY THINGS THAT SOUND INTELIGENT OR ¨PRACTICAL¨OR ¨REALISTIC¨BUT IF ITS NOT OF FAITH AND IF IT DOESN´T BRING YOU CLOSER TO GOD THAN IT WILL ONLY BRING DEATH AND WILL END UP HURTING AND POISONING YOUR SPIRIT AND THE SPIRIT OF OTHERS.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

CHRISTIANS ARE SUPPOSED TO SHOW AFFECTION AND SUPPORT TO ONE ANOTHER. A lot of times, there are christians walking around who seem to be doing okay and you probably assume they have their own group of friends, when in reality they spend a lot of time feeling alone and depressed, not knowing that there are other people even within the church just like them, or that there are also people in the church who would love to welcome them and spend time with them and get to know them better if they would just take the risk and open up and try to take the iniciative to make contact with people.
Also, in the bible Jesus sent his disciples out to minister in twos. Paul when he traveled nearly always had a partner with him. The believers spent hours eating together, listening to christian teachings together, worshiping in the temple together, chatting together in eachother´s houses, working together. A lone christian does not exist. and if you were burned by a church somewhere that didn´t welcome you remember what it says in Corinthians that we are one body and a toe cannot suddenly decide that he is not part of the body---if he cuts himself off he will die, end of story. Each body part depends on the rest of the body, and on the blood and oxygen being pumped from the heart of the body, to survive.
Christians should certainly still be showing love to and influencing nonbelievers, but our family is always going to be our brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers in Christ. And believers can see God at work more clearly in how we relate to our brothers and sisters in christ even than in how we act as an individual (¨they will know you by your love for one another...¨).
